Morgan ThreeWheeler Does Burnouts

 morgan three wheeler burnout.jpg

The Morgan Threewheeler was one of the darlings of the Geneva auto show. It was awesome. There was leather, a front mounted Harley-Davidson V-twin, side pipes and, well, only three wheels. Crazy. Crazier still is that they're building it for real people to drive in the real world. And to drive a car in the real world, you need power. Burnouts are a good way of showing power...at least, that's what we think. And Morgan wants to make us happy.

So here are the coolest three-wheeled burnouts you'll see this week.

Morgan Caption Contest: And the Winner Is.....

 Caption Contest winner Morgan.jpg

Remember that Caption Contest way back from Friday? Ergsum did and sent me a nice little "get your act together" email reminding me that caption contests need winners. And winners need prizes or else, well, what's the point of playing. And this week's winner has the option of Top Gear Season 14 or Top Gear Season 15 on DVD or Blue Ray.

And that honor goes oh-so-very-closely to....Dan Edmunds (Actual Size)!

What? An employee? Boooo. Hisssss. It's rigged!

There were some good ones this week for a hard contest, but Dan's was the favorite. Sorry. BUT! He doesn't get to win a prize, that's not fair (plus, there's a small pile of these, he could just grab one). So the prize should go to second place....

This Morgan three-wheeler was the standout "I gotta drive that" of the 2011 Geneva Motor show. It's held together with wood and straps and leather bits and its got wire spoke wheels. And when we saw this scene, it was caption contest gold.

Have at it, and there's a special prize for this week's winner!

2008 Geneva Auto Show Preview: Morgan hydrogen fuel-cell hybrid

I never thought that I would use the words "Morgan" and "Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Hybrid" in the same sentence, let alone being used as a linked thought. Wow. What's the world coming to? Morgan, a brand so steeped in history, and often thought to be stuck in the 1930s with wooden frames, is planning on a zero-emission vehicle, and one that's "still fun to drive."

The vehicle will be on display at the Geneva auto show...

2007 Geneva Auto Show: Racecars of the Palexpo

Just a selection of the racecars from the Geneva Motor Show floor, our favorite being the Morgan Aero 8 GT3, which is set to compete in the FIA GT3 series this year. It has a 420-hp 5.0-liter, BMW-sourced V8 with a dry sump oil system, hooked up to a six-speed sequential gearbox. The race version of the Civic Type R, by the way, does pick up the limited-slip differential the production version lacks, but it still has a torsion beam out back.—Erin Riches, Senior Content Editor
