No, that's not a BMW 7 Series, that's a Kia. Specifically, this is Kia's new rear-drive, full-size luxury car intended -- for now -- for the Korean market.  "The design concept behind KH is distinctive, modern and classic," said Kia in a statement. This is the production version of the Kia GT we were so smitten with in Frankfurt and LA.

No powertrain specs were revealed, but assuming that the Genesis' 3.8-liter V6 will replace the 390-horsepowr 3.3-liter turbocharged V6 from the concept.

The KH will o on sale in the first half of this year where it will be called the K9. Kia says they are still exploring launch timings for overseas markets. North America is on the short list but Kia says there are no plans to bring this one to Europe.

K9? Are they kidding? Maybe someone should let Kia in on what K9 means in the US.

Why does it matter what K9 means in the US, this is what it will be called in Korea. The Optima is called the K5 in Korea, and the Amanti replacement is called the K7 in Korea. Given that, if it is brought to the states it will probably have a word name versus a alphanumeric name.

I see Maserati Quattroporte in that greenhouse. Either way, the 7-series wishes it looked this good. I find the 7 unattractive personally, and this is muuuuch better.
