Lexus Releases TORI 500 Racing App

Lexus_TORI_500_App_003.jpg
Earlier this week Lexus went a bit risky when they fashioned a racing course around the general shape of SI Swimsuit model Tori Praver.

"The Lexus team began," reads the press release, "by photographing Tori -- being sure to capitalize on her curves -- in poses that mimicked the angles and curvature of a true racetrack."

Unfortunately, only two professional drivers were allowed to race around the 1-to-12000-inch scale form of a giant bikini model. Now everyone (with an iOS device) can! Nothing creepy about that. Not even a little.

The game is available now in the app store and rated 12+ fr "infrequent/mild sexual content or nudity" and "infrequent/mild mature/suggestive themes."

Obvious male trap is obvious. Doesn't this make guys embarrassed when marketing is this easy?

This is kind of embarrassing. Not what I would have expected from Lexus.

It won't get me to buy a Lexus, but I'll still try it. So, easy to get my attention? Sure. Easy to get my dollars, not so much.....

Maybe they're trying to get mind share with the younger set so they'll consider Lexus when they grow up, move out of Mom and Dad's and get a job - when they're 40....

Granted, the SI Swimsuit models can reach men young and old, but from a marketing standpoint, this is probably more effective for Toyota / Scion FR-S buyers.
