BMW is a big player in the automotive industry, and to prove it, they're spending a ton of money on Super Bowl ads. BMW is also a company that is highly profitable, so they're not spending as much money as some other big names.
Instead, BMW is airing two thirty-second spots during the Big Game promoting the all-new 3-Series and running a total of six 30-second spots on YouTube. The first two after the jump "the Big Grab" and "the Close Call" will be aired on Sunday.

Advertising heated steering wheel and electronic gadgets for a (supposedly) "ultimate DRIVING machine"... I dunno whether I should be feeling sad or just LOL @ this.

Boring for the "ultimate driving machine" slogan.

what does any of this have to do with the slogan? Any of these features can be found on other cars not meant to be the Ultimate driving machine. BMW needs new ad men now!

The second spot sounds like the computerized voice from War Games back in the early 80s. Seriously, that sounds awful.

Did anybody see any of these air during the Superbowl? I watched starting at 6pm Eastern and didn't miss a commercial. I didn't see it anywhere. Were they aired during the pre-game or something?
