2013 Kia Cee'd Revealed Ahead of Geneva Motor Show

After a flood of leaked images, Kia has finally just given up and released official images of the 2013 Kia Cee'd before the Geneva Motor Show.

We're still left to speculate about the engine that will power the Cee'd (Forte) hatchback, but the 1.6-liter GDI from the Veloster Turbo has been rumored and would be welcome.

It's exactly the same car that we saw in the leak and that's a good thing. It's another sharp looking design from Peter Schreyer and his team and with how stylish the segment has become, it's about time.

Nice to see a stick shift in pre-production photos. If the top photo with the sunroof, is the same car, I will be impressed. I am already impressed that it has a nav system. Of course, this could just be a Eurpean model. If, and when, it comes to the US it will probably be dumbed down.

Very attractive, though the interior looks pretty busy (very Audi-like...). Hyundai inevitably has the ruined alien version of this in the i-30, but I much prefer the Kia.

But it needs a good chassis underneath to truly be a benchmark.

Is this a Forte in nicer duds?

My first impression is that that looks quite good both inside and out. The interior looks both somewhat premium and also sporty. If this fairly accurately suggests what we will get to replace the current Forte 5-door, I predict the new Forte will be far more popular and garner more sales than the car it replaces.

Do the new Kia interiors remind anyone else of Saab interiors?
