2012 Geneva Motor Show: Nissan Invitation Compact Hatch

88573_1_5.jpg
Showing their "commitment to the compact car segment," Nissan will be showing an all-new B-segment car concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show: the Nissan Invitation.

This Fit lookalike would slide in with the Micra and the Juke in Europe. Nissan says "Invitation is an energetic design, bringing fresh style, innovation and excitement to the mainstream market."
We say "It's a Nissan Fit...which is a good thing."

Look for more of this car as we get closer to Geneva.

Nice! Get a stick in place of what's probably a CVT, and I like the overall design language. Front-end looks angry and wind swept (and Fit-ish, of course).

Shouldn't this have been the Versa?

Leaps and Bounds better than the cube, versa, or any other little Nissan in recent years.

This should be fast tracked to production, as is.

Definitely Fit-like, plus some Fisker Karma in the rear.

If the interior makes it to production with even half of the design language shown here, it would be 100 times better than the Tupperware-in-a-car interior of the Versa.

Nice. Now just offer a sport version with the Juke drivetrain and it will be a blast.
