This guy, Tim Cameron, solves problems while driving the same way I do: more throttle. The difference, though, is that he's driving an insane tube-frame buggy with a built 620 horsepower, 7.4-liter LSX 454 crate engine (with a power-glide transmission with 2k rpm stall) on 43s through the woods like a madman.
Seriously. A mad man.
Here's a list of things yelled in the office -- over the roar of that motor -- while we watched it 11 times: "That thing is just indifferent to everything!" "I'd wear a helmet and eye protection." "He's really good with the rear steering." "He just felled a tree with a buggy!"
Without a doubt this is the best video I've seen in 2012.

So much for treading lightly...

Reminds me of the cliff-climbing buggies that they use in Iceland. Now those guys are mad men.

The shotgun approach to off roading. That thing spent as much time going sideways as it did forward.

That there is lightly controlled chaos with a steering wheel. I love it.

Surprised by the complete lack of safety equipment, but what an awesome machine

glad I do not live near this a--hole, wonder whose land it is that he is destroying, trust it is some sort of course not just land they happen by, but doubt if he cares too much

I could see this thing becoming the underpinnings for a functioning Warthog from the Halo series... Better than that other driveable showpiece that someone built a few years ago.

Needs more suspension travel.

I'm really torn on this one. I keep alternatiting between "this is awesome" and "this is stupid." I've finally decided its awesomely stupid.
Wait a minute - on second thought, it could be stupidly awesome.
I guess I'm stuck again, but he isn't. Even when his car is upside down, or missing a wheel, he keeps mashing that throttle looking for a way to keep going.
I will say this - when I'm driving along and see a cliff looming up above me, I say "well I guess that's the end of the road." You've got to hand it to a guy who instead says "looks like I'll need to go full throttle up this part."
