Video: Nissan Teases "Re-Imagined" Pathfinder Concept

Nissan Pathfinder NAIAS.jpg

We've already seen the new Pathfinder a couple of times. First we saw spy shots of a camo-clad, front/all-wheel-drive crossover we caught testing. Then there was a dark silhouette teaser of the Nissan Pathfinder Concept that will be shown for real at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show that was graciously provided by Nissan.

This time we've got two quick teaser vids showing the Pathfinder's new face and a quick shot of the backside. It's not enough to make a real decision, but from what we can see this new Pathfinder is going to be a handsome crossover.

Handsome? Not with that big, bright, clumsy looking grill. Basically the same grill they have had on every other SUV, crossover, and truck, but minus-- to Nissan's credit-- a few diagonal bars.

To me it's just cheesy looking.

Another true off-roader that has simple become a minivan without a sliding door. Oh well, I guess that's what people want.

OK Nissan, you have enough crossovers.
How about giving the Xterra a stronger front diff.?

I'm with ed124c. While these promo shots attempt to flatter the vehicle as much as possible, it looks as though this vehicle's styling would have been outdated five years ago.

What is the purpose of these teaser images that are only ever picked up by the enthusiast press?

Kinda looks like a Toyota Highlander.

Front is nice. back is too round.
If only they style it like the Patrol.
