Kia has just released the first teaser for its 2012 Super Bowl commercial "Drive the Dream" featuring Adriana Lima and the 2012 Kia Optima Limited.

The spot, directed by Noam Murro, also features Motley Crue (and their song "Kickstart my Heart") and former light-heavyweight UFC champ Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell. In the commercial the Optima will drive through a young couple's "wildest thoughts" from Victoria's Secret angel Adriana Lima waving a checkered flag to a rock concert to a UFC fight to a rhinoceros rodeo and even a fairy tale ending. An expanded version of the ad will be available on Kia's YouTube page on Feb 2.

Judigng from the teaser video after the jump, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Kia wins the Super Bowl. Unless of course Suzuki can bring out Miranda Kerr, Karlie Kloss, GnR and Brock Lesnar.

Personally, I have never heard of Adriana Lima, I assume that the picture is her, but it could be some random hot woman, don't know, don't care.
So seeing/hearing her name has zero impact on my ability to focus on the rest of the commercial.

I don't think you can 'win' the super bowl ads without creativity.
Every since it became such a huge thing to have superbowl commercials they've gone down hill. They too often try too hard and miss.
There are still some entertaining ones but since they pay so much for the ads they have to hype them online way before to get their money worth out of the ad and have something to catch people's attention (who is this Lima?) so you don't get just a good, creative and possibly edgy commercial during the game. You get a weak, overproduced, over thought commercial that is slowly leaked over the weeks before the big day.
And people still email the sad attempts to each other because it is a SuperBowl Commercial so you have to see it!

Seriously, never heard of her.
I see she's a VS angel, and I know the names of a few of them, including Miranda Kerr. But really, there are a LOT of really beautiful women in the world and try as I may, I just can't keep track of all of them.
