Did Scion announce pricing for the 2013 FR-S at this afternoon's press conference? No, not yet. But it did say that the FR-S would be receiving an updated version of Scion's BeSpoke entertainment system.

Also unveiled was a 600-horsepower Scion Racing/Greddy FR-S drift car which will be competing in the 2012 Formula Drift series with Ken Gushi behind the wheel.

I told you guys Gredddy would get a hold of this thing first. 600 HP is absurd. 0-60 must be like 3 seconds.

600 HP?! Was that done from turbocharging the all new 2.0 engine used in the FRS/BRZ or did they just swap a different Subaru engine in there?

I'm impressed if it was done with the all new engine...

the hood has space, it might be just another V8 swap. turbo charging car won't won any Formula D competition these days, but I guess it's just marketing anyway, since Gushi's TC just in it for some face time and not competitive anyway...
