"Conceived as a design exercise, the LF-LC is envisioned as offering Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive to deliver both driving performance and fuel efficiency."
And that bit of information pulled from this morning's press release is all we know about the LF-LC hybrid that Lexus is bringing to Detroit this year. Once again, Road and Track forced Lexus' hand here by publishing a full article on the car's design. R&T doesn't have any more real information about the car, but they do have some (small) interior shots that are pretty slick.
So the question is: Should Lexus build a hybrid, 2+2 LFA?

"Should Lexus build a hybrid, 2+2 LFA?"
Well, to compete with the likes of i8, electric SLS, CX-75, I guess.

Should Lexus build a hybrid? Yes
Should Lexus build a 2+2 LFA? Hell yes
Should Lexus build a hybrid, 2+2 LFA? No. Let car guys have car guy cars, and let eco nerds have an eco car. Why does every new cool concept fast/sporty car have to be some kind of hybrid. I mean, I've seen a lot of Prii, and other Hybrids, but I've never seen a Tesla Roadster. And where are the hybrid minivans and such, where this kind of technology really belongs.

The big mouth grilles have got to stop. Even on Audis, where they work reasonably well, I don't think they're the best-looking choice.
Besides that, I love it. Build it!

Gorgeous--I really love the big-mouth grill. Wow, the first Toyota since the Celica that looks good...
