
It seems like an eternity since we first got the official word on the 2012 BMW M5 so it's initially surprising when we see what amounts to teaser footage of a car we've frankly forgotten isn't on sale yet.
But the 560-horsepower twin-turbo V8 powered M5 is not for sale yet and BMW still has some pushing to do to make sure this car gets an appropriate welcome in the marketplace. Part of that push includes BMW's sponsorship of the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympic Games.
In anticipation of that, here's a BMW M5 drifting around a beach.
