Forza 4 December IGN Pack Brings the Raptor!

 Forza 4 update.jpg

$7 to race a Ford SVT Raptor in Forza 4? Deal. Though I'm going to be seriously disappointed when they don't modify the game physics to just let me run amok through the infield.

In addition to the Raptor, you also get that nifty little Suzuki pictured above. The one made famous by Monster Tajima when he smashed the 10-minute barrier on Pikes Peak on the final year there would be any dirt.

These two are the only reasons I have any interest in this content, but the full list of cars and a video of the new cars is posted after the jump.

-2011 Monster Sport Suzuki SX4

-2011 Mazda RX-8 R3

-2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor

-1967 Chevrolet Chevellle SS-396

-1977 Ford Escort RS1800

-1981 Volkswagen Scirocco S

-1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio Verde

-1988 Pontiac Fiero GT

-2010 Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4

-1957 Maserati 300 S

The Fiero is just one of those guilty pleasure cars that no one likes to admit they like. Games like this let me tap into the guilty pleasure of driving cars like a Miata and not feeling girly for it or a 3 series without feeling arrogant. unfortunately hybrid cars even in the video game world still make you feel like a self-righteous savior of polar bears.

Oh I openly admit liking the Fiero. +1 to ABF.

There are some great cars in this pack, but there are also a lot of slightly differentiated variations on cars we already have. Yet the new 5.0 'Stang and Le Mans winning (and remarkably safe) R18 are still missing.

Love that little AWD Suzuki SX4! Makes me wanna pick one up and install the RoadRace Motorsports Turbo Kit on it! SX4's and Kizashi's are so under rated.
