DashCommand is one of the easiest, neatest ways to access your vehicle's OBD-II information. It's also not always ideal to have it on your iPhone's display. Thankfully, a new update now allows your OBD-II sourced info to be displayed on your radio...if you have a Pioneer AppRadio.
Pioneer's Appradio is the latest in mobile integration and uses Apple's iPod Out (a feature that sends the iPhone's graphic user interface) to an outboard screen. But instead of simply sitting idly by and letting the iPhone do the thinking, Pioneer adds a graphics pack to make things easier to use in a car. Swipe and pinch controls remain, though it's unclear how they function for DashCommand.
You can display up to 27 gauges including coolant temp, accelerometers, power, Gs, track mapping, speed and RPM. And, of course, you can use it for those pesky check engine lights.

That's pretty cool actually. I use DashCommand on my phone with a dedicated phone dock and it works really well.
