I know its a concept but........why bother with the back seat, just make it a true two seater.

LF-Lame Coupe?

Clean sheet of paper? It just looks like an LF-A’s skin over a 2+2 chassis. Don’t get me wrong, it looks great (except for the angle used in the leaked photo) but isn’t it too close to the LF-A?

This plus the new GS’s nose seem to mark the end of L-Finesse, which is too bad. I thought it had more potential.

I like it! Lexus needs to build a replacement for the beloved SC; hard top convertible. The IS-C simply doesn't cut it. This is a luxury brand and it must have a convertible to anchor that niche portion of the market to compete against the BMWs and the Mercedes. This could be the plateform!!

But you know what, it is know aston-dbs has some beef against Lexus as seen on another recent thread, where he wrote one of the most most ancient and common things to say against it, calling Lexus cars just overpriced toyotas. You guys seem to think lower-level LF-A whereas I am thinking Lexus's version of the GT-86...

Finally- a cohesive design utilizing the new corporate grill. Kinda looks like a Braun shaver, but I like it!

It looks to be either stretched ToyoBaru platform or one from LFA

If this hits the production, I'd say about 80~100k GT (a little more than where SC used to be)

This looks to be bigger than a Lexus version of a FT-86. It is a striking concept though, It should make a good competitor to the E-class coupe, 3 series.

No, this car is not stunning. Instead, like nearly all Lexus designs, it is a hodgepodge of unrelated slashes, lines, gashes, and curves. Yes, the proportions are sexy. But that is where the appeal ends. The design is shit.

Reminds me a little (rear pillar/glass) of the Renault Alpine GTA of the late 1980s. I loved that car when I was a kid. I was a weird kid.

"rides on the LFA platform"... do you even understand what a concept car is? It's a concept; it doesn't ride on anything but hopes, dreams, and some design studio's conception of what a cool Lexus might look like. The fact that it kinda resembles a LFA is probably a nod to the idea that the LFA might have been a desirable car, if Lexus had priced it inside the stratosphere.

As a concept, I think it looks neat. At this point, though, it makes me more disappointed with Lexus than interested; even if they built it, nobody would be able to afford it.

I has a beautiful profile. However, the previous post shows a front view that appears overly busy. Sometimes simple lines are simply beautiful.

I bet that front nose and taillights make it to the next IS

Not bad, basically looks like an LF-A with the new pinched/spindle grill design a la the new GS that is making its way throughout the lineup.

The grill has a less awkward shape and this looks better than either the LF-A or the GS.

Side profile looks very clean w/ an edge, given what toyota/lexus has been doing w/ their cars lately this car should have solid performance, can't wait to hear more about it

Won't do as "well" as the LFA. Considering that the LFA was a complete sales flop, why bother with this thing? Lexus need to concede the sports car marker to Corvette.

I like it, it's a very emotional design. In the photo above, the headlights and tail lights appear to be crying. I also love the headlight's placement in the air intake, to me it says function over form.

Another surprisingly good looking design out of Lexus. Someone must have gotten fired....

... It will not be on the LFA platform. The LFA platform doesn't make money and it takes forever to weave the carbonfiber body so it couldn't be mass produce. The LFA is also a two seaters.

Nothing about your comment on LFA platform makes any logical sense AT ALL.

Who said this is the new SC?? It had better not be. Stupid person, go buy used SC, there are plenty.
