Video: Kimi Raikkonen Talks Return to F1 With Lotus

 kimi F1 return.jpg

The big news yesterday out of Lotus Renault was that they had signed Kimi Raikkonen for the 2012 race season. The 32 year old Finn released a statement with the announcement that read, "I'm delighted to be coming back to Formula 1 after a two-year break. My time in the World Rally Championship has been a useful stage in my career as a driver, but I can't deny the fact that my hunger for F1 has recently become overwhelming."

It reads like someone who's actually interested in racing and has a pulse. Watching this video interview, however, will remind you quickly that his "iceman" nickname isn't just due to his chilly demeanor on the track.

He's chock full of personality.....

But I'm glad he's back. An awesome driver and I can see him doing well at Lotus
