The subcompact segment is rapidly growing here in the United States thanks to consumer demand and the fact that subcompact cars are no longer terrible. Far from it, they're actually very good. The new Chevy Sonic is one of the best cars I've driven this year.
Well, if we lived in Europe, there would be another new subcompact debuting. The Peugeot 208 is the second car to adopt Peugeot's new corporate face; a face vastly less frightening than the old one that resembled him or a creature from the deep.

This is the actual picture. I did not crop it. Someone at PSA actually thought this was an acceptable press photo. Is any media outlet using it for purposes other than making fun of it? If so, I imagine the newsroom conversation going something like this...

(pauses, taking a drag on his cigarette) Furthermore, I'm just not seeing enough sky. Our readers must know that the sky is still blue, otherwise, what is the point of living?

I rarely compare styling, but here goes:
A Hyundai Accent five door with a Veloster grille.
The interior doesn't lool Frenchy enough for me, and the instrument cluster and nav unit look like they were glued on as afterthoughts.

Peugeot seems to be coming back. I really do like the Peugeot 3008 Diesel-Electric Hybrid SUV--but we cannot get it here!
