It's easy to forget how much fun auto shows can be when you're not rushing around taking pictures, asking questions, shooting video and jockeying for a good spot against Bob Whogivesacrap from TulsaLovesCars.net.
In this spirit, Mike Magrath and I took a tour of the 2011 L.A. Auto Show, checking out our favorite cars, the odds, the ends and all the other fun stuff you don't usually see in a car show's media coverage. We had a lot of fun.

And you didn't offer the nice lady a grilled cheese sandwich? And you call yourselves gentlemen!

The Kia Hamster was hilarious, I got one of my friends on there also. If you liked the Chrysler girl, the girls in Kentia were at a different level. Honestly none of the new cars really spoke to me at the show. My favorite was the fully restored 280SE 3.5 with the AMG V8, I sat in that and the craftsmanship and build quality were beyond reproach.

It started slow, but after the Stow-n-go thing it was pretty damn entertaining to the end.
The look of contempt after mentioning the ring... or the Twilight Volvo.

Rizwick sounded a little like James May talking about the XTS, but this vid definitely brightened up this depressing rainy day here in the Northwest. I would definitely like to see videos like this at the other auto shows you guys go to!

This definitely had the jriz spin on Top Gear UK - I liked it!
How about a weekly podcast?

How about a network TV show for our Edmunds editors? (I initially typed "our boys", but realized that was sexism rearing its ugly head).
Come to think of it, there are a ton of cable channels. Why not an Edmunds channel? I guess we are getting enough info from our daily articles from the staff.

Beer and grilled cheese sandwiches. Welp, I got dinner planned now. Thanks guys!
Also, video needs more sweater vest. That thing was sweet.

Loved the video. Fun how such comic reviews can liven up an auto show review, which in many cases tend to be laced with techinical terms and torque, hp and a few dozen acronyms...

Well done guys. It more than makes up for Riswick's poorly fitted pants. :)
