The 2012 Hyundai Azera makes a major play for premium territory with a dramatic redesign and engine improvement -- and a much bigger price tag.

James, I will bet that curent Azera owners wouldn't think their car is forgettable. I think you are confusing them with Camry owners.

The original Azera was completely forgettable, however this new one is stunning. Looks like another homerun for Hyundai. Now if they would only bring over the Sonata Wagon or better yet make an Azerra wagon with this powertrain, I would buy one immediately!

I wouldn't say the current Azera is "forgettable" either. A friend has one and always appreciate the smooth drive to the golf course - ride is on par with a similarly priced Buick - which is to say plush and comfortable.

The Azera doesn't look interesting compared to its bigger and smaller siblings (especially the Sonata). The front reminds me too much of the Avalon although this thing looks less dull.

Still, it could be the colors (brown and silver) that's making it look dull. I'd still go for the Kia Cadenza (if it were sold outside SK).
