2011 L.A. Auto Show: The Lexus LFA in Red

Not every sports car looks good in red. The Mercedes SL is a good example. I didn't expect the LFA to look very good either, but when I saw this I was impressed. Not bad, not bad at all.

I remember when it seemed like Toyota was taking a long time to bring this car to market. If I had only known then...

Looks like the same red LFA that Toyota/Lexus brought to the OC Auto Show earlier this year. Stunning, absolutely stunning, in person.

I don't care that there are faster, etc. cars (esp. since I'll never be able to own one)... I think this car is drop dead sexy. And that's before you include the sound of that magnificent V10.

If a sports car doesn't look good in red, it's a sign that the designers didn't do their jobs properly.

@ jkp1187:

I personally don't think any BMW/Mercedes will look good in red.

Can't remember if I ever saw an M3/M5 in red. The M1 (or 1 series M) has 3 colors: black, white, and orange.

I think that orange will actually look fantastic on the LFA.

@sniperruff: you're right about no BMW or Mercedes really looking good in red, but those aren't sports cars but rather sport sedans, and I think there is a difference there.

I think the C350 sport sedan would look good in red. The LFA is a sexy car in red or any other color.
