We're looking at something like 8 days until Forza Motorsport 4 hits the shelves. Xbox Live Gold members can download the demo today while normal members will have to wait until Friday for their first taste at the new driving sim.
And as you'd likely expect, the good people at Forza are ramping up for this with a serious PR push and that includes this new live-action fantasy video narrated by Jeremy Clarkson. Like so many Clarkson productions, this ad is about more than just a car or a game. It's about a lifestyle that's slipping away.
If you've ever had a day where stealing an Aston Martin and ripping through a city trying to evade police seemed like a good idea, this one's for you.

That promo brought a tear to my eye.
Kinda reminds me of when Clarkson gave that beautiful eulogy surrounding the V12 Aston at the end of a Top Gear episode a couple years back. He was driving through the winding roads of the English country side fields of beautiful flowers set against endless curves of black pavement.
+10 Clarkson does make everything better and more poetic. As Hans Gruber so eloquently put in Die Hard as he marvelled over Mr. Nakatomi's model Bridge: "Benefits of a classical education." [sic] And when Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept, for there were no more worlds to conquer." Benefits of a classical education.

Just finished playing all 5 of the cars in the demo. My god did they up the ante with this one. This game will be simply amazing.
As for this ad, it's almost depressing, because of how right he is.

Too many speed cameras (where I live) and they just want to install more and more. Sucks. :(

Every time I tried to play the rivals mode the server was down. Quick race mode was awesome though. I pre-ordered my LCE a few weeks ago. Can't wait.
