Michelle Wie and Blake Griffin Team Up with Kia, West Coast Customs for SEMA Soul

 Kia_Soul-2.jpg

Last time I posted something about Michelle Wie, I claimed she was far more interesting than goofy hamsters. I was outvoted. I'm still correct. This time I'm not going to mention hamsters at all because this one stands on its own just fine.

Professional golfer Michelle Wie and basketball player unemployed guy Blake Griffin (previously), both hitched to the Kia wagon, have signed up to, with the help of West Coast Customs, help Kia launch six "sports-themed" projects for SEMA.

This 2012 Soul's paint job is based on Wie's artwork she uses for her LPGA bags. This Sou has a flat-screen TV, an Xbox with Kinect and two golf bags. Kia is quick to point out that Wie does drive a Kia Soul when she's at home in (super expensive place to live) Palo Alto.

No idea what Blake's car is going to look like, but we have to assume less anime, more "will throw ball into hoop for very large sums of money" slogans.

Gratuitous picture of Michelle Wie after the jump.

At the risk of being flamed-

I've never saw the logic in this mentality. Why anyone would buy an econobox then dump how much $$$$ into it to "pimp it out"?

Any word on if Michelle will be a SEMA?

How is the Soul an econobox?

Econoboxes are basic, stripped transportation modules. Even the base Soul is loaded and has more style and character then cars costing twice as much.

There is no such thing as a gratuitous picture of the lovely Miss Wie.

West Coast Customs has become total and complete sell outs. All they do is vehicles paid for by company X. I was so disappointed when I watched the latest TV series and it turned into a Best Buy commercial. Then the next show was devoted to them advertising for HP.

I'll never watch them again, which is sad.
