...well doesn't that look cool.
This is the 2013 Audi A4 Allroad which will be headed Stateside sometime around June of 2012. The new Allroad, along with the 2013 A4 and S4, get revised bumpers grilles and headlamps as well as some minor interior and trim changes.
For the European market, the A4 gets one of 10 motors, six TDI diesels and four supercharged, direct-injection gasoline motors with automatic start-stop. The A4 2.0 TDI makes 136 horsepower and returns 56 MPG. Steering on all A4s is now electromechanical.
The S4 gets a 329 horsepower 3.0-liter V6 cranking out 325 pound-feet of torque. There are unfortunately no plans for an S4 Allroad.

Unless that has adjustable height suspension, that's no 'Allroad'.

Is there really a need for an Avant, an Allroad, and a Q5? Perhaps if the Avant went back to 2WD and got a commensurate price decrease.

The Audi fans are really getting their fix this week. Good for them!

1. The Allroad looks beautiful in that photo.
2. The dash (Allroad?) is quite dated looking.
3. The rear seats of the Allroad should fold flatter, if not fully flat. Especially for the expected outrageous price.

Looks like they changed nothing but some trim. BMW gets pilloried for their changes but BMW doesn't get raked over the coals for making the A4 look the same for over a decade?

ed124c....I thought the same thing....Audi has the rep for awesome interiors and I am not seeing it lately......the climate controls are mounted too low and the design is pretty basic. There is not a thing special about the dash in this car.

I thought the current S4 made 333 hp. It's losing an admittedly inconsequential 4 bhp in this "update"?

That Allroad is a sexy beast. The US needs more wagons -- ESPECIALLY with manual transmissions.
As an aside, Magrath calling the engine choices "motors" tripped my vocabulary alarm, which made me look up the difference between "engine" and "motor." If engineers can't agree on the term, all might be lost:

My head hurts after reading that.

Not really.

Yes, body is opposed to fun and functionality.
