Well, it appears that Maserati is going forward with the Kubang...and with the name Kubang.
They're so committed that they've put together a CG movie about the new luxury SUV teasing it beyond what they showed in Frankfurt. The theme here is just because the Kubang is an SUV it's not a departure from what a Maserati is supposed to be. We're reserving judgment on that one.

I think it looks good, the name is awesome, and there is certainly a market for luxSUVs, so why not?
