There are a few ways to ruin a race between a 478-horsepower Ferrari F40 and a 611-horsepower Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Most of those ways end with a gigantic insurance report and a lot of red faces.
This one, however, is ruined by a simple disclaimer at the front of the video: "This is a fictional race with professional drivers on closed roads." Fictional? Lame.
Whatever, it's not every day we get a new video with the Ferrari F40 so we'll take it. Plus, who are we to complain about free supercar videos?

Cool video. A little too staged in some areas, but I won't complain.
I've had a ride to close to 200 mph in a 599. Fabulous car, sounds awesome. But I'd take a F40 (or preferably a 288 GTO) in a second over the 599, even if they were valued exactly the same. The 599, as awesome as it is, is (more than) a little heavy and a bit antiseptic compared to the F40. Far more liveable, more reliable and a better GT, but doesn't make my blood boil like the F40.

I would take the F40 over the Eclipse.

Id like a 360 Modena or F430 over all the others.

The F40 will always be a better car than the 599, no matter what the figures are.
