Thanks to Automotive News Europe, we have the first shots of the Jeep-based (which is ML based) Maserati SUV. Or this is a very elaborate hoax by the always hilarious people at Automotive News.
No idea when Maserati turned into Gemebella or Novitec, but this thing is a nightmare, unusually busy and way too similar to a BMW for being something out of Maserati. I think Mark's was better...

I agree, whats with this crap? Even if your trying to feed into general speculation. this thing is obviously (minimum) five other luxury SUVs slapped together in a mediocre way. On a side note. At least now we know who G-power goes to in order to find inspiration for their ungodly looking BMW alterations.

Fake or not I think it looks great. The roof line slopes down a bit too much in the rear for me (I much prefer the BMW X5's roof line over the X6's for example) but other than that I'm sold on the design. Put the flat-plane crank V8 from the Quattroporte in it and I'd commit fraud to own one.

Can anyone get specific on the shared parts between the ML and new Grand Cherokee? All I can find specifically mentioned is the rear suspension, and possibly the air suspension, and my teeth grind every time I see "ML based" mentioned in articles. If it's just those two components claiming it's a Mercedes Platform is a slap in the Chrysler engineering department's face for not giving them credit for turning out a good product.
Pedantic, yes, but credit where credit is due.
