Did you have an interest in the Smart ForTwo but passed because the microcar simply wasn't strange enough? Have they got the concept for you!
The Forvision concept is a joint collaboration between Smart and BASF that focuses on energy efficiency and light weight.
The wheels are plastic and, according to Daimler, are "suitable for high-volume production" and can save 28 pounds per vehicle. The doors are carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic. Photovoltaic cells on the roof power the multimedia system and the OLED lighting for the interior.
Thankfully, we're unlikely to see this anywhere near production even with a new Smart en route for 2014. We will, however, have to see it in Frankfurt in a couple of weeks.

That's just, like, a Power Wheels for really rich people's kids, right?

This has to be a Power Wheels: Magnum size prototype... I'm weeping for the car driving part of humanity.

Looks like a Nissan Juke after it had been sandwiched between two tractor-trailer rigs.
