This is Robert Himler and his mom. She's kind of hot and he's a 20-year old computer dork. A computer dork with a Lamborghini Gallardo. That's been twin-turbocharged by Underground Racing. To the tune of 1,250 wheel horsepower.
Himler is one of the more likeable rich-kids we've seen and seems to have his head screwed on the right way, except when it comes to driving like a gentleman with his mom riding shotgun. Her panic is our gain, though, as Himler has a very active (and, shock, profitable) YouTube account where he's uploaded the account.
I'm still waiting for a mother-in-law video....

Smokin' hot mom, but not that great of a video.
Must be nice to be 20 years old and have $300k to drop into a car.

But he cheaped-out and didn't get an anti-reflection coating on his glasses!

Looking around, it looks like his riches weren't inherited. Rather, he combined some creativity with some computer savvy and created some well-liked web sites and tools that made bank. In short, he worked to earn what he's got. That's worthy of some respect, and likely has a lot to do with why, despite riches, his head is on straight. Well, that, and he's not a Hollywood actor or actress.

head on straight? What planet are you guys on? PUBLIC ROADS? d-bag. no matter what. Posting this, cops should be able to figure out how fast he was going and give him a ticket for speed, and possible reckless driving.
Have 300k to blow on a car, earned or not. You should have enough to pay for the track.

Driving like an idiot on public roads...not cool.

Don't care how he got the $$$ (I'm not the jealous type of person) for this toy, but I agree with people who said that driving this fast on public roads is retarded. Don't care how "experienced" he thinks he is, there are always millions of unpredictable things that can go wrong, resulting in his car hitting and potentially killing someone else who is using same public road.

ok, we can all put away our judicial robes now. He's running through second and third gear in these spurts...probably getting up to 130mph.
Yeah, thats damn fast for a public road - but never are his hands moving enough to signify he's changing lanes and you don't see car flashing past him. He did this with some intent of being safe. (he's got precious cargo with him after all)

@ opfreak
As a fellow member of the neighborhood watch committee, I KNOW how
offensive videos like these are. That rich guy driving around like
that, endangering everyone! They need to lower the speed limits on
the highway back to 55 so everyone gets better mileage and they should
also ban the use of radar detectors cuz if they have em' their just
gonna go over 55! To use the rest of the day constructively, please do
the following:
1. Listen to a lecture from your dad about how raking leaves builds
character
2. Read some consumer reports articles about the latest hybrids/electrics
3. Watch some local news spots about how the traffic unit is doing blitzes
all over town this weekend to catch people on cell phones and speeders,
which for some reason always ends up becoming disturbingly arousing.
4. Watch the 219 MPH Lambo video again, do your best to estimate the actual
speed that other rich guy was going, and call AZ DPS and Joe Arapaio again
with your best estimate.
5. And finally promise the local traffic services where this video was made
that if they bring this rich guy maniac to justice, you'll go on ride-alongs
with all the guys :)

A little late for this, i guess, but man, do we have a bunch of absolutist health and safety nut around on IL or what?
Admittedly, this guy is probably just a rich boy without any conviction or real passion for cars, and by that I mean a real, principled, and realistic outlook on your car and driving (1250whp? that's way more than what's practically useable, performance-wise. he's a rich show-off who never knows when to stop adding power and, instead, focus on refinement and balance).
On the one hand, there are idiots out in the street who only want to show off by going really fast illegally on public roads and go out thinking they're always gonna be fine. On the other hand, we have people who define themselves by their passion for cars and for the full reality of the streets; people who know full well the danger they would pose to themselves and to others when they go out and drive at full throttle on the roads. These latter people aren't suicidal/homicidal maniacs who just want their adrenaline rush. They're people who know when, where, and how to go all out; how to drive with the golden mean of caution and bravery; choosing the spot where they would pose the least risk to anyone, but who, at the same time, have accepted that anything can happen and are willing to take that risk and accept whatever consequences would befall them. This kind of dedication and passion is at its fullest on the street, where everything isn't simply hermetically sealed from reality so that you can go at your fastest without any worry; where it's not all about money and sponsorships; where drivers with a true passion for speed are never going to stop being allured, attracted, and addicted to. It's a world that you health and safety nuts are never going to understand.
I'll say it right now to any control freaks who want to eradicate spirited driving anywhere other than the track: like it or not, both of these types of people exist and will persist. I understand well enough that the law makes no exceptions regardless of one's beliefs. But blurting out your moronic stereotypes about fast drivers, lumping the two together as the same; that's just judgmental ignorance.

Quite an ironic name you got for all the safety-sammy sermoning. Raking and hybrids/electrics? WTF dude, WTF?
