The Car Show Episode 2 Teaser: Brian Johnson, Girls Driving Stick and a Ferrari

So gBrian johnson ACDC.jpg

Brian Johnson, AC/DC frontman, absolutely killed it when he was the star in a reasonably priced car on the Real Top Gear. So good I forgot I hated AC/DC. Sort of like how Jay Kay made me forget how horrible Jamiroquai is.

And now we're getting more of Brian, but not on Top Gear, he's guest starring on The Car Show this week where he'll be driving a Lamborghini....through Manhattan.

Other clips in the teaser video include teaching girls to drive a manual transmission and, interestingly, Dan Neil testing the Ferrari 458. We'd have thought it'd be Adam as he's the show's star and a huge Ferrari guy. Let's see if Dan can review it better than he can drift it.

"Nice to meet you... you, and you."

OK, I lawl'd. Mostly because I have lingering nostalgia from The Man Show.

So what's wrong with AC/DC? Yes, yes, music is an acquired taste, but no band has been able to transition from one frontman to another as successfully as AC/DC has.

Rock and roll ain't noise pollution.

Looking forward to tonight's show.

Im a little young to know Carolla's history, but if I saw him in a dark street I would cross to the other side. He has creep written all over him.

besides that, this show is truly entertaining and just might be the true Top Gear USA.

I am looking forward to the second season of that too.

Saw the episode last night. Not super impressed. The stick driving segment really didn't require much stick driving skill, hell they never even shifted out of 1st gear. And didn't we see a 3 man race across Manhatten recently on another show? Oh, and aren't they supposed to show cars on the car show? I seemed to miss all the footage of cars.

Haven't watched this yet. But The Man Show was pure comic genius - a show I (and even my SO surprisingly) loved to watch - and she laughed as hard as I did. And because ACE's Man Show was so good, I'll give this one a shot as well.

I second the inquiry about the AC/DC hatred. What's up with that? If you love rock, you've got to have a strong appreciation for AC/DC. And if you don't love rock....ohh, don't get me started :) But seriously, Angus Young is the energizer bunny of rock guitarists, and as kain77 pointed out, what other band has been able to sustain such a huge level of hits with two different front man (maybe Van Halen?).

If you don't think you're an AC/DC fan, go back and listed to some of the old stuff. Maybe something off of Powerage or '74 Jail Break
