Land Rover released pricing today on the Victoria Beckham-pimped, 28-mpg 2012 Range Rover Evoque: $43,995 for a five-door Evoque and $44,995 for the coupe.
Land Rover is selling this as the lightest and most fuel efficient Range Rover ever and with an EPA rating of 19/28 and a weight of only 3,680 lbs, they've managed that target easily. Credit the use of aluminum, Boron/high strength steel, polymer and composites as well as some 35 pounds of recycled plastics for the low weight. Recycled plastic can be found in the headliner, center console, wheel arch liners, air cleaner, cooling fan and shroud, air ducting, side under trays, parcel shelf and engine cover while recycled aluminum is on the center console and dashboard.

I like the style of this car. Its different, without being a bad different. A good alternative for the dead 2 door freelander. But i'd still have it in 4. Not sure why they always have to coupe cost less than the four door. Its like a odd trend.

Overpriced too much?

Seriously, Mike. Where do you get off using things like math and empirical data to deduce factual statements and put them in print? Then to go and use an adverb like "easily" to describe margins of merely 15-35% is just blatant favoritism.
