When passions collide, good things usually result. Obviously, here at Inside Line, we're into cars. Recently, a few of us have taken up shotgunning as a hobby. Those two interests are also shared by Aston Martin enthusiast Ron Collier, who commissioned a Browning B25 12-gauge shotgun with hand-engraved depictions of his beloved 1990s V8 Volante.
Collier has since sold off his Astons and is now putting his bespoke shotgun on the auction block. Holt Auctioneers will make it available to well-heeled buyers on June 23, where they expect it to fetch around $30,000. Yup, you read it right -- thirty grand.
It's not really our cup o' tea (the shotgun, the car or the execution of bringing them together), to be honest. We're more partial to something bespoke from Holland and Holland that runs in the $60,000 range -- maybe with a Defender 110 engraving. Or perhaps an AR-15 with a Dodge Challenger etched into the receiver? Or how about a .25 caliber Beretta with a SmartCar sticker on it? You get the idea.

I'll take a M60E4 with a F550 on the cover, "Super Duty" engraved on the stock and, "Powerstroke" engraved on either the bolt or the gas tube.
