Pardon the bragging, but I've spend a lot of time *driving* the Corvette ZR-1. A lot. It's a tough life sometimes. The thing about the ZR1 as opposed to, say, the twitchy and terrific Z06, is that the ZR1 isn't scary. Not even a little. Like all Corvettes, the seats are terrifying in a sports car and the steering can get a little light, but, man, there's no shaking that car. It's like a real supercar wrapped in a Corvette. And after a few days, well sorted and not scary gets boring and predictable even if you are going a million miles per hour.
Enter John Hennessey and his 755 horsepower Corvette ZR750 ZR1. 0-60 comes up in 2.8 and the quarter mile in 10.3 @ 139 mph. The power upgrade comes from a pulley upgrade, high flow everything, extreme duty valve springs, cam upgrade, 6,700 rpm rev limit and HPE engine management.
And then like any good addict, just a few days after this stops being scary, I'm sure JH will have something new and more powerful.

So, what is the missing word? With? Scaring? Kicking?
