Team Lotus Enterprises has officially purchased Caterham Cars. You may know Caterham as the builder of the super light Caterham Seven sports car which was originally known as the Lotus Seven. Got that?
To commemorate the acquisition, Caterham will offer a special Team Lotus upgrade package. It includes traditional green and yellow Lotus livery, a commemorative plaque and a tour of the factory. Looks pretty good actually.
Of course, none of this has anything to do with the dispute between Team Lotus and Group Lotus which builds the Evora. That little spat continues on unabated.

I feel like the phrase "made of win" is appropriate here.

Another salvo fired in the war of who really carries the Lotus torch. Hint: it isn't the company about to build massive hybrid land-yachts, headed by the man who confessed to adding weight just for the sake of adding weight.

Hoo boy...the Lotus thing is getting tedious. Lotus-Renault is the better F1 team, and Group Lotus is going to turn out obese GT cars now. These are times when I wish I could run Group Lotus. I fear that this is turning into a worst-case scenario. F1 loyalties are divided (green lotus and black lotus), while the new direction that Bahar is taking will most likely alienate fans of the road cars. Sir Chapman is probably rolling in his grave right now.

The guy told me you could only get them with the Hayabusa engine for government regs reasons but the site now shows car engines too.
Sounds real cool with the bike engine though.
