The Social Media folks at Inside Line thought it would be a good idea to set up a Tweetup for us and the Lexus LFA at the Fukuburger truck in Las Vegas. We weren't sure what to expect, like if anyone would show up at all. And while it was hard to tell who was there for the awesome burgers (I recommend Number 2, the egg burger), the nearby tatoo parlor or actually for the LFA, everyone was drawn to the Lexus supercar regardless.
So we chatted and tweeted, re-tweeted and three-tweeted, while people looked the car up and down and sat inside and gawked at its interior.
Want to make a group of car enthusiasts happy? Fire up a $375,000 super-limited sports car and rev it a few times.
Later, the Fast and Furious crowd showed up in a big parade, while scrawny Senior Editor Josh Jacquot scarfed down his second egg burger.
And then amidst spine-tingling revs and a cloud of tire smoke, the LFA was on the road again.
Will we get the car back to Lexus headquarters in Torrance by 8 a.m. Thursday morning?

It's the scrawny guys who can often put away the most. I once ate a 6X6 with fries from In-n-Out.

I'm digging the fact the the Fuku truck is parked in front of Weight Watchers.
