Not gonna lie, this doesn't seem like a good idea...No, not just the idea of an electric Smart Fortwo, but taking an electric Smart and covering it in glass mirrors.
But, generally, "good idea" and "artist formation" rarely go together. And the Smart Discoball was, in fact, created by artist formation and supergroup (one is from Coldplay, another A-Ha), Apparatjik. According to the Wikipedias, the name is Sweedish for "apparatchik, which is a word of Russian origin and is used to describe "people who cause bureaucratic bottlenecks in otherwise efficient organisations".
This project will culminate with a special live performance of Applejack (who can be seen after the jump dressed as reflective deer-men) performing inside of a six-meter tall cube projecting scenes through the museum walls. You can buy tickets at www.apparatjik.com or just follow along at youtube.
