Remember that Caption Contest way back from Friday? Ergsum did and sent me a nice little "get your act together" email reminding me that caption contests need winners. And winners need prizes or else, well, what's the point of playing. And this week's winner has the option of Top Gear Season 14 or Top Gear Season 15 on DVD or Blue Ray.
And that honor goes oh-so-very-closely to....Dan Edmunds (Actual Size)!
What? An employee? Boooo. Hisssss. It's rigged!
There were some good ones this week for a hard contest, but Dan's was the favorite. Sorry. BUT! He doesn't get to win a prize, that's not fair (plus, there's a small pile of these, he could just grab one). So the prize should go to second place....
Ergsum! Booo, that guy wins all the time! Booo. His entry was good, though:
"This baby was driven by a little old lady who took down the occasional Messerschmitt KR200 on Sundays."
Runners up:
technetium99
"And to prove its British heritage, it has already got an oil leak!"
joedriver8:
"No, sir, 'freakin' lasers' do not come with this shark."
blueprint1
"...they tell me that this button chokes the engine, for whatever reason." (this was so close to second place)
Thanks for playing, see you all next time!

Dan's was the best. Ergsum is too creative. I like the oil leak reference. That is all.

Well, since you have a stack of them, can I get one for "being so close to second place" ?
PS I learned to drive with a 1981 Honda Civic Wagon, with the manual choke and "Hondamatic" tranny...the first manumatic! No "D", you had to shift between 1,2 and "OD" ... a label the lawyers would not use today.
