"My Maserati, it's stuck in the snow."
"Sir, this is CBS, you sound like you need a tow truck."
"It's a Maserati Convertible. It's stuck. Send Katie Couric."
"Sir, that's hardly news worthy of 60-minutes correspondent Katie Couric's time."
"This is Barry Diller. I'm a billionaire. Send Couric. If she's not there, I'll take Rooney."
At least this is how I assumed we got to the above pictured situation with Katie Couric pushing media mogul billionaire Barry Diller's Maserati Grandcabrio out of the snow on New York's Central Park Drive. And if that's not the way it happened, I expect to see Katie Couric pushing cars out of snow banks as her new thing.

The guy's a billionaire and yet he's driving a Maserati GC on slippery winter roads? It's probably on summer tires too. http://wreckedexotics.com, here we come.
Why didn't the tool just take his G550 or LX 570?
And if it's not his car, these comments still apply to whomever the actual owner may be...

Not that any of this matters, but...
Why are they smiling? I rarely smile when my car is stuck and I am holding up traffic, and there is a truck driver so annoyed at the whole thing that he is aboutready to shove the Maserati out of the way.
The smiles are probably phony, but the rest of the picture is comically surreal.
Is there more info about this? Oh, I see there is a link.

A billionaire is STANDING BY AND WATCHING a woman push his convertible exotic out of the snow....hmmm.....
...either he owns major stock in CBS or she's just desperate to generate some excitement for her mundane career.

I'm shocked he's driving a Cabrio in the snow. I agree with johnny he probably has the summer rubber on, as for Katie, her ratings have not been good so any publicity is good.

You would think a billionaire would at least have put some winters on. Money can't buy common sense.

Katie Couric isn't a regular correspondent on 60 Minutes. She's the anchor of the CBS Evening News. You know, Walter Cronkite's and Dan Rather's old show. There's rumors that she may even have a viewer.

She's not pushing. It's a silly pose for a picture.
