In Spain, it is not illegal to exchange sexual favors for money, even if it is widely acknowledged to be "gross." It is also apparently permissible for municipalities in Spain to humiliate prostitutes by forcing them to look a bit like extras from a Mentos commercial.
The Telegraph is reporting that the town of Els Alamus in Catalonia is forcing strolling professionals to wear yellow fluorescent bibs because, according to police, the hookers pose a danger to drivers. Indeed.
We might be offended by such modern-day Scarlet Letter-type public humiliation, but...pink tights with Puma sneakers? Honey, you needed some fashion recommendations anyway.

Well, I have no idea why we as a society in general think we can police this type of behavior. It's been going on a LONG time. :)

Dang! You guys are on your captioning game. Even if this post was not, in fact, a caption contest.
I'm ready to call a winner here. mrryte's "Project Runaway" is simply brilliant but it makes me too sad for it to win. Third Place, then.
ergsum, who also recently kicked some ass in one of the Detroit newspaper caption contests, brought some clever, if totally gross, entries to the party. A Second Place for the group of them.
The big money goes to Snipenet's last-minute entry, "Bum Deal." Perfection. Well done.
We trust that our appreciation will be prize enough.
Daniel

Congrats to Snipenet on winning this "contest".
And special thanks to you Mr. Pund. Obviously it's hard to be "politically correct" given the subject matter of this blog entry so we appreciate you letting us have a little fun with it.
