We won't see a new Trans Am. We're used to that now. It could've been cool. Screaming chicken, T-tops, split grille...it would've been cool. But we've got the Chevy Camaro instead and one of the complaints we've heard over-and-over again about the 2010 Chevy Camaro is that there simply wasn't enough nose that the driver couldn't see. Second to that was that there simply wasn't enough chrome on the front. HPP -- Heide Performance Products -- solves both of these problems with this neo-muscle Trans-Am.
Of course, it opens itself up to a world of new problems. Pontiac must be rolling over in its grave.
But, if you like what you see here (you know what I mean) there's more after the jump and if you still can't get enough after that, well, it'll be at SEMA. Shocker.

The tail lights on the Firebird are TERRIBLE. And honestly the models aren't that great either. I love my GM V8s but I've never really been a pony car guy, and I used to own a 95 Z28.

the car is just hideous...
the models are older to appeal to the older demographic they are trying to market to... they are definitely milf's to someone of my generation, though.

I guess when you look at these pictures, this one kinda makes some sense...

In the fourth picture, that steering wheel is like half the size of her body.
Or maybe it just looks really big in her small hands...

I'd like to take the time to thank Insideline for the high resolution pictures. It really helps to appreciate the "finer details". When Cougar meets Firebird. Daddy like!

::Eyeroll:: Gaudy, shiny cars and scantily clad ladies. This reminds me of those low-brow hot rod magazines that populate the last few rows of the "Men's interest" rack at Barnes and Noble. Poor taste with an extra helping of Jersey.

60s retro meets 80s retro!
That's all I've got. Well, not really, but I'll leave it at that.

I actually can see the white ones front end on the road. Very nice, IMO. The rear is the hot mess that makes it look like road kill on wheels. @redgeminipa: Had you not posted that link to that pic, I would have thought someone threw up on paper for the design of the rear. They should have done that chrome surround from that '69 model, painted the arear around the exhaust body color, and had LED's for the taillights. Probably would have translated better. The yellow one is ugly PERIOD. Looks like a bad 80's GM re-badge.
On a side note: Dont know whats going on with the so-called "models" but thats probably because Im gay. *shrugs shoulders*

Why do people keep trying this kind of stuff. THAT IS UGGGGLY. A waste of a good camaro.

Ummm....Did anyone miss that hideous blue interior, or the funky leather paneling on the door?
I'm envisioning the whole production run of these filling up the parking lot of the nearest NASCAR race, replete with those, ahem, models.
The yellow Camaro is a touch better, but the wheels are really ugly.

If you really want to make me ignore the Pontiacked Camaro, do the following:
1. Make it ugly
2. Make a car based on an extict brand
3. HOLY CRAP those girls are AY MAY ZING, holy jeebus, good God me likey.

Wow - you guys sure talk a great game! If you ever, EVER had the very unlikely opportunity to turn away either one of those models or spending a day being seen in that Firebird, you'd be the first ones on line with your tongues dangling and then spend rest of your lives bragging about it. LOL!!!

You are so right, bout the other comments. From the get-go the first thing I noticed was the ladies. Holy JEEBUS! I'd definitely be one of the first in line, and if not i'll fight to the front lol, also with my tongue hanging out. "How are you today, Miss Fine Model?" =)

Love the 69 Trans Am Tribute. 1969 style Trans am Hood, Spoiler and Side Heat Extractors look great, I could do without the chrome front and rear bumpers, although I get it, they are also from a 69 firebird.
Bring back Pontiac, Kill Buick and GMC.
