The Flying Greek Jimmy Koufos Jumps 427-Powered School Bus Over 20 Motorcycles

Why are you reading this? Didn't you see the title? 26-year old Jimmy Koufos jumps a 5.5-ton school bus 120 feet over 20 motorcycles! Sure, it happened in 1980 and isn't exactly breaking news, but it's awesome. Keep in mind his father-in-law was the physicist who did the math to make this jump possible.

That was one hell of a landing.

That front axle was just literally shaved clean off!

I want to see another Top Gear city bus test with something like this.

I guess they need to do something with those NASCAR venues when the good ol' boys aren't in town.

Lostboyz, i noticed that too. It wasn't a lack of speed that made him come up short, it was the front end bounce as he hit the ramp.

It was funny to see Mike Adamle as the announcer. He played college football at Northwestern and played for a few NFL teams, including the Bears. Today he is a sportscaster for WMAQ (NBC) in Chicago.
