We saw the sketches of the Mini E Scooter on the brand's Facebook page earlier this month and now we've got official images of the new Mini Scooter E Concept.
This new, hipster-spec electric scooter is available in British Racing Green, a Mod-inspired grey/blue/red combo that should appeal to followers of the cult film Quadrophenia and, of course, the Mini-E's electric-grey and yellow scheme.
The Mini Scooter E Concept uses an Apple iPhone for start / stop, navigation, and vehicle information. Official power has yet to be announced, but the lithium-ion battery is expected to give the Scooter E a range of 60 miles.
Currently there are no plans to build and sell the Mini Scooter E -- and thus no official decision if they will be purchasable vs. the lease-only Mini E car-- but Mini plans to evaluate the public reception before making a decision. But with Peugeot and Smart also testing the high-end electric scooter market, it's a matter of 'if' not 'when' we see these on the streets.

As a former semi-rude girl, I have to say I like it.
The "mod" one needs more mirrors, though.

That chick's studded jacket is recockulous.
How much gas do you save switching from a gas powered 80mpg scooter to an electric one? 20 bucks a year?

Not a scooter guy, but I do like the design. I will be shocked if Mini actually sells these things.

A Mini-branded electric scooter? I can see the ads now:
"Prices start at an affordable $12999"

the girl in the top photo looks excited about it. I think the Scooter E is powered by human souls from the look of it.
prndlol, the prices will start at $1,299 but the cheapest you'll find on a dealers lot will be $12,999.

We have countless electric scooters running around the Vancouver area. They are much cheaper then gas scooters (about $1000), require no licence or insurance, cost almost nothing to run or maintain and best of all don't sound like a chicken farting.
