Does it count as a spy shot if its part of a well planned, calculated press push? Shot in a dark room, from behind a fence or with something in front of the lens, BMW is faking this spy shot thing pretty well. Except maybe for the studio lighting and the big "dontblogaboutthis.com" graphic leading to a BMW-owned website.
There's a lot of Vision EfficientDynamics concept in the front of this 6-series based hybrid, especially the super-slim kidneys and the stingray-like fender bulges. No word if in continues, like the Vision EfficientDynamics, to be a plug-in hybrid, but there's no reason to assume otherwise. We do know this secretive concept is running on extremely narrow (195) tires and sounds as if it's running on electricity only.
