We caught the standard 2011 Dodge Charger awhile back. Now take a look at the SRT8 version of the 2011 Dodge Charger. Our spy shooters managed to catch this test mule with its cover removed while it was testing in Death Valley.
As you can see, the front end gets a new take on the traditional cross hairs design cue. There's also a full redesigned front fasica and a new hood with a center intake. With a 6.4-liter Hemi under the hood, this Charger is going to need all the air its can get. See for yourself after the jump.

I really hope Dodge sees how successful the manual transmissions are in the Challenger and offers them in the Charger.

+1 pat1usmc.
That car looks like it's about to go berserk on the car that won't get out of the way. Awesome.

Since they already have a manual transmission in the parts bin for this platform, it's a low cost addition that would really help the image of the charger.

Is that "center hood intake" real? Seems these days almost all extra vents are just fake design elements.

Is that man taking a leak on the car?

That's not an intake; it's a hood vent to exhaust hot air.

That's definitely not an intake, its an outlet. I sure hope they do decide to give the Charger a manual transmission. If they offer one, I'd be glad to own one!
