I wonder how much faster Cruise would have been if he kept it on the track, 1:43 for sure.

Yeah, I remember reading some story about his driver coaches from his days of thunder days and they said that he was a bit too agressive, so I guess that he never stoped driving that way.
Now, I wonder when the show with Rubens Barrichello is...

I'm surprised Tom Terrific went on Top Gear after Jeremy laughed at Mark Walhberg's comments last year. Look it up, it was very funny.
I really hope the American version this fall doesn't stink.

Rubens' episode was 2 weeks ago, and Stig is still ticked off.

Bad Erin, bad!
To paraphrase BBC America, none of these episodes have ever been seen LEGALLY on American television. So how on Earth did you know???
On another note, does anyone find it humorous that BBC America admits to the rampant downloading of TG when promoting the show?

Thank heavens for fast forward. Sitting through these two nitwits would have been unbearable. Good episode otherwise.
@e90_m3 - even yahoo news had an article about Cruise being on BBC. They framed it as "he almost died" and that he's going to extreme lengths to promote their shoddy movie. Yahoo news made it seem like Top Gear isn't one of the most highly rated shows in the UK. On sunday the show pulled 22% of the entire viewing audience in the UK.

And the BBC needs to start selling episodes through apple immediately after they air. I'd gladly pony up $5 to watch it each week.

Honestly I found the interview to be kind of annoying. The highlight of the episode was definitely the piece on Ayrton Senna.

@ mbvette,
Tom's time would have been slower if he stayed on the track for the last turn. The last turn is so tight you have to slow down hard but he just carried his speed through by cutting the entire width of the car through the grass.

He out-Gambon'd Gambon! Very entertaining laps from both of them.
Re: downloading, I wish download it every Sunday night - love the show and wish it was aired sooner on BBC Canada.
