With the supersize order of carbon unit-bodies McLaren just placed, you might think the small British automaker is on track to build a whole range of cars with more than the two seats in the upcoming 2011 McLaren MP4-12C. But you would be wrong.
McLaren's PR chief, Mark Harrison, informed Inside Line via text message today that the company will absolutely not build a 2+2 -- contrary to suggestive reports floating around on the Web.

yeah, we'll see how long that lasts. By the way I would consider a 911 turbo a pure sports car.

the car certainly looks better than i remember... perhaps it is because they got rid of the rear seats.
