Lead Senior Editor Ed Hellwig took a quick peek around the Chevrolet Volt MPV5 Concept today in Beijing, and sure enough it's shaped and sized exactly as you'd a small minivan to be.

No further details on production prospects for the Chevy Volt minivan were offered today, but you can read more about its Volt-based propulsion system in our full write-up.

It's hard to get a sense of the size.

very nice. I can see how this might replace my current minivan but the inside looks cheap...like many US made car interiors (boxy, ugly and cheap). I would like to see the interior like a Honda Odyssey.

Interesting.

It's not very big though (unless that girl is 7 feet tall). It is also not a minivan.

A wagon is a wagon folks, deal with it.

Well that sounds good to me because wagons are completely awsome. I like this a million times better than the regular car version of the Volt. GM should definitely build it.

*thumbs up*
