Audi is moving right along with development of the Audi A7, and this week, the company's chassis engineers had the luxury crossover-hatch on the Nurburgring Nordschleife for suspension verification.
Not only does the A7 look surprisingly graceful bending into corners, this prototype has some type of deployable rear deck spoiler that hasn't been seen on earlier mules. Our guess is that it's a temporary edition.
It will be a while yet, before Audi A7 sales begin, as the automaker has told us to expect it in June 2011. Look for a starting price in the high $40,000 range.

I saw this car, with its camo paint, driving towards Pikes Peak this morning. We get that a lot around here--high altitude driving tests. I noticed the retractable rear "wing"--it folded up as the car slowed down to get off the highway.
