Top Goes Down on the Camaro Convertible

So here it is, the Chevrolet Camaro convertible and it finally has its top down. A sharp-eyed Camaro5 reader caught it cruising the streets of Madison Heights, MI recently. Goes on sale early next year. What do you think?

with the top down, it looks better than a mustang convt. would like to see it with the top up, and also would like to know if chevy has improved interior material quality and would love to see what kind material they'd use for the soft top.

Something just doesn't look right about it. Maybe its the fact the the rear wheel is an oval?

I don't like the raised lip around the folded top. It looks like an amateurish attempt at making a coupe into a convertible. Regardless, it will still be a lot more expensive than a coupe with a sunroof.

And, yeah, the oval rear wheel indicates that we are not seeing the correct proportions of the body.

Great to see rear side windows (small as they may be). The last gen Camaro convertible lacked them giving it one of the worst blind spots ever and making the back seat feel like a cave.

At least you can see out of it!
