New Gran Turismo 5 Trailer Gives a Taste of Night Racing in Benz's SLS AMG

Here's the latest Gran Turismo 5 trailer deftly slipped onto the God of War 3 game disc. The big revelation here is night racing, and it of course involves GT5's "cover car," the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

Beyond that, this trailer is a sampler. Lots of Ferrari 458 Italia eye candy, plus more evidence of car mortality as an STI gets caught up in traffic. The Nurburgring and Indy are in the trailer, but so are city streets in Rome (right past the Pantheon) and Tokyo.

And the tease goes on.

Shoot me in the eye if I see another teaser. WTF is this coming out? Don't shoot me in the eye because it'll take a few hundred eyes before this comes out. Should we just watch for the release of GT6 instead?

I'm getting too old for this game, we're gonna have kids soon and they're going to want to play. I don't like sharing release the damn game.

Looks amazing, and GT helped ignite my passion for cars. My main concern is that I've found the Xbox 360 controller (while playing Forza3) to be superior for racing. I don't know if I could go back!

I couldn't wait anymore; I broke down and purchased a used Xbox 360 a couple of months ago to play Forza Motorsport 3.

I took a little getting used to, but the experience of using the triggers for gas and brake (no ABS) in Forza 3 has been quite nice. I still find it difficult to modulate the throttle on higher hp RWD cars and have resorted to using traction control. I wouldn't if I had a wheel and pedals, though.

However, I think I still prefer using the right analog stick for throttle/brake and L2/R2 for downshift/upshift on the PS3 controller more.
