How To Make a Cheap Racecar Handle Like An Expensive One

lemons-lead.jpg
Contrary to what you might think from looking at it, this Miata is not a Cadillac. Actually, it's the most successful car ever to race in the 24 Hours of Lemons series.

You also might think that its success is a result of the spectacular ghettocharger poking so elegantly out of the engine bay, but it's really this car's suspension that makes it an unbeatable beast on the track.

So how it was it done? See for yourself as MotoIQ has just published its latest installment of the FrankenMiata build series. Even if you don't care about Lemons racing, it's still a good primer on the ins and outs of suspension design.
